There were some truly interesting ideas, research and products showcased on the exhibition floor. If you missed the 2017 Special Operations Medicine Scientific Assembly this year in Charlotte or never made it all the way back to the poster boards, here are the posters from the 2017 assembly.
Just like when I took pictures of them last year, my strategy was to quickly snap a pic of each poster to review and reference later. This is a great opportunity to see what is currently being researched around the SOF Med community. If you see a poster that you want to read, just click on it and it will open or download as a high quality picture(some better than others) attachment allowing you to zoom in.
If you have an idea for a poster I highly recommend you put one together. If you are US military you can have your units poster printed and laminated at the TASC print shop on post. If not, Kinko’s can knock it out pretty quick(but not cheap). It’s a great way to share ideas and experiences with the rest of the community. The initial call for abstracts will be in a few months and we will make an announcement on the SOMA Social Media Pages.
